Serves 6 :
3 spring onions
500 ml water
1 chicken stock cube
700 g shelled garden peas
300 ml single cream
3 sprigs fresh mint
salt, ground pepper
1Halve the onions and place in the metal bowl. Add the water, stock cube and peas;
run the CREAMED SOUP programme.
2At the end of the programme, pour the single cream through the opening and
season to taste. Restart the programme 10 seconds.
3Serve the creamy pea soup garnished with pancetta crisps, a dash of cream and
mint leaves.

Chef’s tip

Garnish the soup with pancetta or bacon crisps: cut 3 slices pancetta or bacon into three pieces and fry for a few seconds until golden and crisp.
Drain the pancetta and place on kitchen paper to absorb the oil.
For a thicker consistency, decrease the amount of water to 150ml.

simple, quick, very tasty.


For a vegetarian option, instead of pancetta I used garlic bread crutons which I made easily. Just cut into cubes a few slices of bread and bake in the oven or pan with some drips of olive oil and crushed garlic.
