Serves 1 BOWL :
1 egg yolk
250 ml sunflower oil
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
1 tsp salt, freshly ground pepper
1All the ingredients must be at room temperature. Fit the food processing bowl. Put
the egg yolk, mustard and 1 tbsp oil in the mini bowl, season and run the FOOD
PROCESSOR programme, 20 seconds.
2With the machine running, start adding the oil very slowly through the feed tube,
and as the mixture thickens, add the remaining oil in a thin, steady stream. It is
recommended to refrigerate the mayonnaise for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Chef’s tip

Replace the mustard in the mayonnaise with wasabi.​

My first time making mayo too. Dont know why l didn't try it sooner. So easy and you can add your own extra flavourings.

First time to make mayo . Turned out great

Great recipe. I added some Sweet Chilli Sauce at the end. This made a great dipping sauce to go with Sweet Potato Fries which I dry roasted in an air cooker.
