Serves 10 Pizza Balls :
Pizza dough
250 g plain flour
140 ml warm water
4 g dried baker’s yeast
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp olive oil
Filling
mozzarella balls
50 gchorizo sausage
150 g tomato coulis
grated cheese
olive oil
Pizza dough
1Pour flour, salt and yeast into Cook Expert bowl, then run BREAD/BRIOCHE programme for 1 minute.
2Add warm water and teaspoon of olive oil and press AUTO. Remove and shape into an even ball of dough.
3Set aside for 1 hour under a clean cloth.
4Place on a work surface and roll out using a rolling pin.
Preparation of pizza balls
1Preheat oven to 200 °C.
2Using a round glass, cut 10 disks from pizza dough.
3Dice chorizo. Gently pull out disks with hands and fill with 1 teaspoon of tomato coulis, a few pieces of chorizo, a mozzarella ball and a small sprinkling of grated cheese.
4Fold in 4 corners of dough then put pizza balls on a lined baking tray.
5Repeat for all the other disks.
6Brush balls with olive oil then bake for 20 to 25 mins.
7Serve immediately.
Chef’s tip

Finger food.
You can replace the chorizo with another type of sausage and use tomato sauce made with the Cook Expert.
