1 | Preheat the oven to 180°C (gas mark 6). |
2 | Put the almond meal, butter, flour, baking powder, eggs, cardamom and the 150 g of light brown sugar into the metal bowl and run the PASTRY/CAKE programme. |
3 | Pour the batter into a buttered and floured cake tin. Press the sliced plums into the top of the cake and sprinkle with the remaining 2 tbsp sugar. |
4 | Bake in the oven for 1 hour. Remove and cool for 20 minutes before turning out and set aside until cold. |
