Mrs Miggins

Having read the very helpful reviews about this dish being a bit bland, I added a few things to give extra flavour. I added (at the same time as the pineapple) - 2 cloves of garlic, finely chopped, A small knob of fresh ginger, finely chopped, 4 tablespoons of soy sauce 3 tablespoons of dry sherry 1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnemon I omitted the 1 tblesp water from the recipe. It worked really well, it tasted more like Chinese style pork. I hope this is helpful.

Good recipe. Nice and healthy. From a foodie perspective it is not an 8/10 but ticks the boxes as an easy meal and something that is gentle on the stomach. Great if you have stomach issues or wanting something gentle but not something for a dinner party ?

Nice and easy. Good family recipe. One child loved it, the other thought it was a little plain.
