3 new baking programmes
Pancakes/Waffles: Easily mix batter for delicious pancakes and waffles.
Pizza: Mixes, kneads and proves dough.
Chocolate: Easily melt chocolate without needing a bain-marie.
And also... An upgraded cake dough program, for even more successful cakes.
3 new rinse programmes
Eco: For use after light and low-mess preparations such as steaming.
Medium: Suitable for most preparations (simmering, frozen desserts..).
Plus: To clean the walls of the bowl easily after heavier tasks such as thick pasta sauces.
3 new programmes for the Cocotte accessory
To sauté onions at 140°C right at the start of a recipe, for instance.
To slow cook your preparations and allow all the flavors of your ingredients to develop fully.
To keep your preparation warm before serving.
You now have the ability to switch between light and dark modes in the settings

Upgrade your Cook Expert for free and access all these new features!
This process will only take about ten minutes of your time.
How to update your Magimix Cook Expert
Step 1:
Download the two files and transfer each of them (not the zip folder) onto a USB stick. Choose a USB stick which can be inserted easily into the Cook Expert port. ONLY use a USB stick that is between 2 and 10 GB.
Step 2:
Plug your Cook Expert base to a power source and turn it OFF.
Step 3:
Turn the base upside down, on a tea towel. Open the cover and insert the USB flash drive.
Step 4:
Using two fingers, hold the top and bottom buttons under STOP. Whilst holding the buttons down, turn the Cook Expert ON.
Depending on how old your machine is, two things can happen:
- You will see a light flash on your screen. Continue holding the buttons for 30 seconds and then let go. Wait a few moments until your new menu appears.
- You will see a text display. Hold the buttons until the update finishes and the menu appears. It may take up to 1 minute.
WARNING: Letting go of the buttons too early will result in a blank screen. If this happens, turn your Cook Expert OFF and repeat the update process. Do not let go until the menu appears.
Step 5:
Replace the cover on the base and turn the motor right side up. To check if the update was successfully installed, go to BAKING and check if you’ve got the PIZZA programme.
If you do, the update was successful.
Step 6:
You may have to set the Cook Expert back to English.
To do so, select the settings icon, select Reglages > Langues.
Basic Troubleshooting
| PROBLEM | POSSIBLE EXPLANATION | SOLUTION |
| The screen went blank | You did not hold the buttons long enough | Repeat the update process again. DO NOT let go of the buttons until the menu appears |
| The Cook Expert is not updating | The USB is not inserted properly | Check that the USB is inserted firmly and restart the process |
| The screen display is incomplete | The program did not have enough time to be completely installed | Repeat the update process again. DO NOT let go of the buttons until the menu appears |
| My accessory programmes are gone | The update resets optional accessory selections | You will need to select the optional accessory again. |
