What's the difference between the 3180XL and the 3200XL?

Both the 3180XL and 3200XL are compact food processors designed for up to 4 people, however the 3180XL offers a more streamlined, entry-level setup.

The main difference is the bowl configuration. The 3180XL includes 2 bowls (mini and main), whilst the 3200XL features 3 bowls (mini, midi and main) for added flexibility when slicing and grating. Both models feature the XL feed tube for processing larger ingredients with less pre-cutting, however the 3180XL includes a double pusher instead of the 3200XL’s triple pusher system, meaning it does not include the built-in measuring cup and oil pourer.

The 3200XL also includes the BlenderMix ring for smoother blended mixtures in the main bowl. This accessory can also be purchased separately for the 3180XL if desired. If you’re looking for a compact, simple and versatile food processor for everyday cooking, the 3180XL is an excellent choice.
