2 leeks

2 stalks celery

2 spring onions

1 garlic clove

30 g butter

2 sprigs tarragon stalk removed

1 L chicken broth

200 ml milk

3 chicken breasts

150 g sweetcorn

100 ml single cream

RECIPE STEPS

Place the leeks, celery cut into pieces, onions and garlic into the metal bowl and run the PULSE mode until they are finely chopped.

Add the butter and tarragon leaves into the metal bowl and run the program.

Add the chicken stock, milk and seasoning into the metal bowl. Fit the steamer basket and place the chicken breasts inside. Run the program.
  • 200 ml milk

Cream soup 30:00 / Auto / 110°C

Remove the chicken breasts from the steamer basket and cut them into 2-3cm pieces. Remove the steamer basket and run the program.

Place the chicken pieces into the metal bowl along with the sweetcorn and cream. Rerun the program.

Terrible! Whole soup tasted of boiled onion from leeks not being sauteed well enough. Metal bowl too full and soup leaked everywhere when I ran it on cream soup function. Chicken breasts not cooked in the time given.

Response from the Magimix team: Thank you for the detailed feedback. Leeks need sufficient sauté time to soften and lose their sharp flavour before blending. Please also ensure the bowl is not filled beyond the maximum fill line to avoid leakage. We'll review the cooking times for the chicken as well.
