RECIPE STEPS

Preheat the oven to 175°C.

Wash and slice the whole orange into small chunks, leaving on the skin.

Fit the large blade into the large bowl of the food processor and tip in the orange.

Press AUTO and process for a minute.

Add the caster sugar and press AUTO again until the sugar is incorporated.

Now add in the honey and eggs and press AUTO.
- 70 g of thyme honey
- 4 large eggs

Remove the feed tube as the Food Processor is running and slowly add the oil to emulsify evenly.

Now add the dry ingredients, baking powder, flour, and salt. Then use the PULSE button to bring the mixture together, be careful not to over mix.
- 1 tsp of baking powder
- 250 g of plain flour
- 1 pinch of salt

Pour into a deep 20cm cake tin lined with baking paper. Tap the tin on the table to remove any air bubbles.

Bake for 50 mins or until a skewer comes out clean.

Allow the cake to cool completely and then pour over the drizzle and top with a few fresh thyme leaves. This cake is best served at room temperature with thick double cream.
