500 g of strong white bread flour

100 g of caster sugar

14 g of fast action dried yeast

100 g of salted butter

3 eggs

100 ml of whole milk

50 g of white chocolate chips

50 g of milk chocolate chips

50 g of dark chocolate chips

75 g of plain flour

50 g of icing sugar

2 tbsp of water

2 tbsp of orange marmalade (optional)

RECIPE STEPS

Fit the dough blade to the large bowl of the food processor.

Add in the flour, sugar, yeast, butter, eggs and milk. Process the dough for 1-2 minutes until smooth.
  • 500 g of strong white bread flour
  • 100 g of caster sugar
  • 100 g of salted butter
  • 3 eggs
  • 100 ml of whole milk

Fold in the chocolates by hand. Make sure not to handle the dough too much as you don’t want the chocolate to melt.
  • 50 g of white chocolate chips
  • 50 g of milk chocolate chips
  • 50 g of dark chocolate chips

Prove the dough in an oiled bowl covered with cling film. Leave for 1-2 hours.

Mix the ingredients for the crosses and place into a piping bag.
  • 75 g of plain flour
  • 50 g of icing sugar
  • 2 tbsp of water

Cut the dough into 12-16. Roll into a balls and leave to prove again on a baking tray for an hour.

Pipe the crosses across the top of the buns and bake at 170 C for 25-30 minutes.

When hot, brush over the marmalade.
  • 2 tbsp of orange marmalade (optional)
