60 g sifted, plain flour

100 g flaked almonds

30 g butter

2 egg whites

70 g caster sugar

Heat the oven to 160°C.

Melt the butter by running the program.

Add the ingredients then run the program. If necessary, scrape down the wall of the bowl.

Place small spoonfuls of the batter onto a lined baking tray in narrow strips and flatten with the back of the spoon; scatter with flaked almonds.

Bake for 8 minutes until the edges are golden brown. Remove from the oven and while still warm curve the tuiles on a rolling pin.
