
Beef Casserole




1 onion
2 cloves garlic
1 tbsp olive oil
750 g steak (chuck, rump, gravy beef)
1.5 tbsp plain flour
1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
2 large carrots, sliced with 4mm slicing blade
200 g mushrooms, sliced with 4mm slicing blade
2 stalks sticks celery, sliced with 4mm slicing blade
1 fresh veggie stock or stock cubes
100 ml water
2 tbsp of tomato purée
1 leaf bay leaf

Very tasty. I used apple cider vinegar instead of Worcestershire sauce, and swapped in different veg. It worked well - so quite a flexible recipe with a bit of imagination. Thanks.
Looks great, but how much vegetable stock or cubes - 1 litre? Missing from recipe.
Overall good flavour. Raised temperature to reduce the cooking time. 2A speed is just too fast, so reduced to 1A after some time to avoid mushy casserole. Next time I’ll add more spices.
Absolutely gorgeous and so easy. I used Chuck Steak and followed the recipe in the Magimix App to the letter.
