50 ml white wine

40 g plain flour

1 tbsp parsley

1 tbsp chervil

1 pinch pepper

1 pinch nutmeg

1 clove

1 leaf bay

0.5 tsp salt

30 g butter

450 ml water

2 carrot

200 g of petits pois

1 pinch chilli

100 g button mushrooms

600 g chicken breast

150 ml single cream

Tips

If you don' like wine, replace it with water and add 1 or 2 tablespoons of lemon juice.

RECIPE STEPS

Cut the chicken into 3cm pieces. Put the ingredients into the metal bowl and run the program.
  • 50 ml white wine
  • 1 clove
  • 1 leaf bay
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 450 ml water
  • 600 g chicken breast
  • 1 pinch nutmeg
  • 1 pinch pepper

Remove the pieces of meat from the metal bowl and set aside. Roughly dice the carrots and add them to the bowl. Run the program.

Add the mushrooms and run the program.

Remove the vegetables and the sauce and set them aside in separate bowls. Rinse the metal bowl.

To prepare the sauce: put the butter and the flour in the metal bowl and run the program.
  • 30 g butter
  • 40 g plain flour

Add the cream and 400 ml of the sauce that was set aside. Run the program to mix.

Cook the sauce by running the program.

Quarter the mushrooms. Put them with the other ingredients in the metal bowl and run the program.

Remove the bay leaf, the chilli and the clove. Serve the stew topped with parsley and chervil.

I needed hints : keep cooking if chicken is not cooked by this stage. I ended up having to cook the chicken in the sauce at the end which ended up with a too thin sauce.
