which magimix cooking machine are you using for this one? I can't seem to find the "stir-fry" option on mine. also, the max temp is 140°C
This is a stunningly ill-conceived recipe. Firstly, like other recipes, it doesn't integrate the MCE's ability to do things like chop onions into the the appropriate steps. Rather than stir-fry the chicken it steamed it (and overcooked the few pieces of chicken that fell to the bottom and never moved from there). The vegetables cooked but nothing that could be described a stir-fry.
2nd part: the noodles were awful (steaming isn't enough). The chicken needs to be hand stirred into the vegetables. And my kitchen looks trashed whereas I could have used a knife, a cutting board, 2 spoons and my wok.
The noodles stuck together as it needed water to boil up & should not have been steamed. The upgrade stir fry feature was good but the only stir fry recipe, being the chicken & cashew recipe was very ordinary & poorly written. Could we please have clearer written recipes that incorporate a lot more flavour & spices. Would also love to see more recipes from all food cultures around the world.
It was extremely delicious, something new, that all of my family enjoyed.
Flavour to bland and mixture too wet. Will make again with extra flavour and cornflour for thickening
we love this recipe. the flavour is new for us and have repeated it often since.
very happy with the stir fry have made chilli and cashews will be a regular.
