300 g plain flour

0.5 tsp vanilla extract

150 g unsalted butter

1 large egg

100 g caster sugar

50 g brown sugar

50 g dark chocolate chips

50 g caramel pieces (or diced soft caramels)

Tips

Replace the dark chocolate with 50g white chocolate chips (or white chocolate broken into pieces) and the caramel with 50g roughly chopped walnut halves.

Heat the oven to 180°C.

Soften the butter by working it with a spatula, at room temperature, until you get a smooth consistency.

In the metal bowl, put the following ingredients (except the egg) and run the program. After 1 minute, add the egg through the cap opening.
  • 0.5 tsp vanilla extract
  • 150 g unsalted butter
  • 1 large egg
  • 100 g caster sugar
  • 50 g brown sugar

Add the flour and run the program.

Rerun the program. Add the chocolate chips and caramel pieces through the opening while the program is running.

Roll the cookie dough into balls (2-3cm) in the palms of your hands and flatten. Place them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
