RECIPE STEPS

Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Fit the whisk in the bowl and whip the egg whites for about 5 minutes until they are stiff and small peaks start to form.

Gradually pour the sugar through the opening, leaving the food processor to run until the whites are very firm.
Transfer the whisked egg whites into a bowl.

Add the coconut and the flour.
Gently fold to mix the ingredients using a spatula.
- 200 g desiccated coconut
- 30 g plain flour

Dampen your hands and shape the mixture into the shape of a pyramid or small balls.
Transfer them onto a baking tray lined with baking paper.

Meanwhile, melt the chocolate in a bain-marie.

Bake for 10 to 15 minutes, keeping a close eye on them while baking.
Allow to cool.

Set the baked macaroons on a rack until cold. Dip the bases in melted chocolate, place on baking paper and refrigerate for 1 hour until firm.
