250 g unsalted dried cod

1 garlic clove

50 g onion

2 tbsp peanut oil

1 handful chopped parsley

120 g bread flour

2 tsp of bicarbonate of soda

1 egg

75 ml milk

1 knob butter

1 tbsp vegetable oil

Tips

Mix the flour and egg separately then the milk to check the consistency of the batter.

Mix the flour and bicarbonate of soda in a bowl and set aside.
  • 120 g bread flour
  • 2 tsp of bicarbonate of soda

Place the onion and garlic in the metal bowl. Run the program.

Add the oil and rerun the program.

Add the broken up cod, the flour and bicarbonate mix and season to taste. Run the program.

Lastly, add the milk and rerun the program.

Leave the batter to rest 5 minutes before using. Heat the oil in a frying-pan. Place small spoonfuls of batter in the hot oil. Let it rise and brown on all sides. Drain on paper towel. You will get about 24 fritters.
