0.25 white cabbage

3 carrots

4 tbsp mayonnaise

0.5 onion

1 tsp strong mustard

1 tbsp cider or sherry vinegar

1 pinch sugar

1 pinch salt

Tips

For a sweet and savoury starter, add sultanas. For extra crunch, scatter with walnuts just before serving.

RECIPE STEPS

Make the mayonnaise following the recipe from Magimix and halving the ingredients.
  • 4 tbsp mayonnaise

Wash the vegetables, peel the onions and carrots. Grate the carrots in the midi bowl with the 2mm grater disc. Set aside.

Replace the grater disc with the 2mm slicing disc. Slice the cabbage and onions.

Transfer the vegetables to a large bowl. Add the mayonnaise, vinegar, mustard, salt, pepper and sugar.

Check the seasoning and adjust if necessary.

Stir well and keep in the fridge until ready to serve.

Definitely a great recipe - made it 3 times already

nice made with Magimix mayonnaise but a tad boring. better with added pine nuts (or any nut of choice) and some diced apple.
