Creamy Chicken and Bacon Pasta




150 g shortcut bacon, roughly chopped
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 tbsp olive oil
5 g onion poweder
2.5 g dried chilli flakes
500 g tomato passata
350 g water
25 g chicken stock powder
150 ml cream
500 g chicken thighs
250 g tubular spaghetti
125 g mushrooms, sliced (optional)
150 g baby spinach
1 tbsp parmesan to serve
1 tsp of 5-pepper blend

Add chili flakes if desired.

Very tasty and super easy! The pasta I used was clearly too thick and took almost an extra 30 minutes to be edible.
Our family really enjoyed this recipe. I think I might try it with penne or spiral pasta next time. the tubular spaghetti clumped a bit.
cooked along with Vanessa, really yummy definitely will do this one again(only added 1/8th teaspoon of chilli
