RECIPE STEPS

Heat the oven to 180°C.

Lightly butter or line a baking tray with baking paper.

Put the ingredients into the metal bowl.
Run the program.
The dough should be very soft.
- 175 g plain flour
- 1 pinch salt
- 115 g cold butter
- 55 g caster sugar

On a floured work surface, roll out the dough to a thickness of 1.5 to 2cm.

Use a 5cm round or oblong cutter, to cut out the shortbread shapes.

Place the cookies on the baking tray and chill for about 30 minutes.

Bake for about 15 to 20 minutes.
The shortbread must be quite firm.

Allow to cool and sprinkle with icing sugar.
