1 pinch pepper

1 pinch salt

1 L water

1 carrot

1 onion

1 leek

125 g celeriac

350 g split peas

150 g lardon

250 g smoked sausage

RECIPE STEPS

Put the ingredients into the metal bowl and run the program.

  • 350 g split peas
  • 150 g lardon

Add all of the vegetables, cut into pieces, and run the program.

Cut the smoked sausage into 1cm slices.

Add the sausage into the metal bowl and run the program.

The English version of this recipe is not as easy to follow as the one in Dutch (seems to miss information). Also not sure if the timings of the recipe are correct. I added at least 45 minutes to step 2 as the splitpeas were not disintegrating and the vegetables were also still hard. The taste of the soup was definitely yummy just how we remember the "erwtensoep" from Holland.
