Put the ingredients for the dough into the metal bowl and run the program.
- 250 g plain flour
- 1 vanilla pod
- 100 g ground almonds
- 200 g unsalted butter
- 60 g caster sugar

Cover the mixture with cling film and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

Heat the oven to 175°C.

Remove the mixture from the refrigerator and shape into a roll 3 cm in diameter and 30 cm long.

Cut into 1 cm pieces and shape into crescents.

Bake the vanilla crescents for 18 minutes.

After removing from oven, let biscuits cool for a few minutes.

Then, while still warm, roll them in the vanilla-flavoured icing sugar.

Put the icing sugar and the whole vanilla pod in the metal bowl and run the program.
