125 g yoghurt

125 g caster sugar

375 g plain flour

125 g of canola oil

2 eggs

1 sachet baking powder (11 g)

1 pinch salt

200 g icing sugar

1 egg white

RECIPE STEPS

Preheat the oven to 180°C (gas mark 4).

In the food processing bowl, fitted with the main blade, add the ingredients. Blend for one minute.
  • 125 g caster sugar
  • 375 g plain flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 125 g of canola oil
  • 125 g yoghurt

Add the baking powder and blend for one minute.
  • 1 sachet baking powder (11 g)

Brush the cake tin with oil and lightly flour. Remove the blade from the bowl. Pour the batter into the tin.

Smooth the surface. Place in the oven for 25 minutes. Check that the cake it done by inserting the tip of a knife or a skewer. The cake is cooked if the blade comes out dry and clean.

Allow to cool before turning out.

Add the sugar and the egg white to the mini bowl.
  • 200 g icing sugar
  • 1 egg white

Run the machine for 40 seconds.

Spread the icing over the cooled cake.
