140 g of brown sugar

3 eggs

250 g of mascarpone

175 g of plain flour

10 g of baking powder

2 tbsp of yellow lemon juice

3 apples

1 sachet of vanilla sugar (10 g)

3 tsp of apricot jam

1 tbsp of water

Preheat the oven to 180 °C. Put the brown sugar and eggs in the metal bowl and run the program.

Add the mascarpone, flour, baking powder, juice of half a lemon and run the program.

Fold with the spatula and restart.

Grease and sprinkle a thin layer of brown sugar on a cake pan (24 cm). Pour in the mixture.

Peel and core the apples, then slice them using disc 4 in the transparent midi bowl. Arrange them in a rosette on the dough, then sprinkle with the sachet of vanilla sugar.

Bake for 40 minutes. Check the cooking by piercing the heart with a knife which should come out dry, and adjust if necessary. Before taking the cake out of the oven, leave the door slightly open for a few minutes so that the cake does not go directly from hot to cold (to prevent it from falling). Allow to cool for 5 minutes before unmolding.

In a small saucepan, heat the apricot jam and water, stirring well until you get a homogeneous mixture. Using a brush, glaze the cake with it.
