120 g butter
200 g of light brown sugar
4 bananas
2 eggs
225 g plain flour
1 tbsp of bicarbonate of soda
1 tbsp vanilla extract
1 pinch salt
1 tbsp icing sugar

Pre-heat oven to 160 degrees. Grease & line a loaf tin.

Cream butter & light brown sugar in main bowl.
- 120 g butter
- 200 g of light brown sugar

Add eggs & process till combined.

Add bananas & pulse. Don’t overdo this step. You do not want to puree the bananas

Add flour, baking soda , salt & vanilla. Pulse until just combined
- 225 g plain flour
- 1 tbsp of bicarbonate of soda
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
- 1 pinch salt

Place the mixture into the prepared tin. Sprinkle with raw sugar.
- 1 tbsp icing sugar

Bake for 1 hour or until a skewer comes out clean.

I made it as specified and it turned out inedible, bitter and no one liked it. I looked at other recipes and concluded the recipe is wrong. It should be one or two teaspoons of baking powder. Drop the baking soda.
