250 g white cabbage

125 g button mushroom

1 chilli

4 garlic cloves

2 spring onions

2 cm ginger

500 g pork mince

12 leaves dumpling pastry

1 tbsp rice vinegar

4 tbsp soy sauce

125 ml hot water

1 tbsp sesame oil

1 tsp ginger

1 tsp sugar

RECIPE STEPS

In a mixing bowl mix together mince, cabbage, mushrooms, chilli, garlic, ginger, spring onions. Cover & est aside in the fridge for at least 1 hour.
  • 250 g white cabbage
  • 125 g button mushroom
  • 1 chilli
  • 2 spring onions
  • 2 cm ginger

Combine sauce ingredients in a jug.
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 4 tbsp soy sauce
  • 125 ml hot water
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp ginger
  • 1 tsp sugar

To construct, place a dumpling wrapper on the base of a small ramekin (I used the Le Creuset ones), followed by approx. 1 tbsp mince mixture & tsp on the sauce. Repeat, with a total of 3 layers of mince. Finish with a wrapper & pour remaining sauce over each ramekin.

Steam for 15-20min. Serve with crunchy chilli oil & shallots.
