1 vanilla pod

300 ml semi-skimmed milk

3 egg yolks

25 g cornflour (Maïzena®)

80 g sugar

200 ml water

75 g butter

1 tbsp sugar

4 eggs

150 g plain flour

1 egg yolk

RECIPE STEPS

Prepare the pastry cream (or crème pâtissière, find the recipe on the application).
  • 1 vanilla pod
  • 300 ml semi-skimmed milk
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 25 g cornflour (Maïzena®)
  • 80 g sugar

Prepare the choux pastry (find the recipe on the application).
  • 200 ml water
  • 75 g butter
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 150 g plain flour
  • 1 egg yolk

Let your choux pastries cool on a wire rack. Cut them in half and then place a small amount of the cooled pastry cream (crème pâtissière) on each.

Keep cold until ready to serve.
