250 g honey

100 g butter

0.5 sachet baking powder (5 g)

1 egg

100 ml milk

200 g plain flour

50 g brown sugar

1 pinch salt

1 tsp of ginger

1 tsp of cinnamon

Mix the hot milk and honey in a saucepan.
  • 250 g honey
  • 100 ml milk

Add the melted butter to the food processor main bowl, and then the flour. Mix for 30 seconds using the dough hook.

Stir in the baking powder, brown sugar, egg and salt.
  • 50 g brown sugar
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 0.5 sachet baking powder (5 g)
  • 1 egg

Run for another 30 seconds.

Remove the dough from the bowl and add spices (cinnamon, ginger, cloves, nutmeg) and nuts, to taste, while mixing.

Bake in a cake (or bread) tin for 30 to 35 minutes in a hot oven (180 - 200°C).
