3 garlic cloves

2 sprigs of thyme

2 sprigs of rosemary

3 tsp of cumin

1 L of chicken broth

2 tbsp of liquid honey

4 tbsp of balsamic vinegar

30 g of dried figs

10 almonds

Peel the carrots and roughly chop them. Put them in the metal bowl with the peeled shallots and run the program.

Fold in as needed. Add the ingredients then restart the program.

Remove the lamb and strain the juice from the metal bowl with a sieve, pressing well with the back of a spoon (especially to recover the flesh of the confit garlic). Set aside.

Put the lamb back in the metal bowl, coat them with honey and run the program.

Deglaze with the balsamic vinegar and collect the sauce. Serve the lamb shanks immediately, accompanied by the carrots and sauce, as well as figs cut in half and almonds.

2026, still nothing like the picture. Too much broth. I will not recommend.

Response from the Magimix team: Thank you for your feedback. Excess liquid often comes from the vegetables releasing moisture during cooking. We suggest reducing the stock slightly or removing the lid for the last 20–30 minutes to concentrate the sauce. We'll review the recipe presentation.
