120 g of white chocolate

70 g of butter

70 g of sugar

350 ml of milk

2 tsp of green matcha tea powder

50 g of plain flour

0.5 sachet of baking powder (5 g)

1 pinch of salt

Tips

You can find matcha tea powder in Asian grocery shops, delicatessens or organic shops.

RECIPE STEPS

Preheat your oven to 150 °C (th. 5). Set up the metal bowl and the egg white beater. Pour in the egg whites and the salt, remove the cap from the lid and run the program.

Reserve and remove the mixer. Place the squares of chocolate and the butter cut into cubes in the metal bowl then run the program.

Pour the egg yolks, sugar, milk, matcha tea, flour and baking powder into the metal bowl then run the program.

Gently incorporate the egg whites into the reserved mixture, using the spatula.

Pour the batter into a greased and lined tin. Bake for 45 minutes.

Let the cake cool, remove from the tin and cut it into squares. Decorate with melted white chocolate.
