2 onions

6 garlic cloves

500 g of chicken breasts

70 g of breadcrumbs

1 egg

4 tbsp of cornstarch

4 tbsp of soy sauce

1 tbsp of sriracha sauce

1 pinch of pepper

2 chicken broth

1 stalk of thyme

1 stalk of rosemary

6 leaves bay leaves

4 tbsp of honey

10 tbsp of teriyaki sauce

3 tbsp of water

250 g of rice

1 bunch of cilantro

RECIPE STEPS

In the large transparent bowl of the ROBOT equipped with the large metal knife, mix the onions and garlic for 30 sec. in AUTO mode. Fold down with the help of the rigid spatula then add the chicken cut into 3 cm cubes, mix for a few moments in PULSE mode, fold down then complete with the breadcrumbs, the egg, the Maïzena, the soy sauce, 1 tbsp. of chili paste Pepper and restart the mixing for 30 sec. in AUTO mode. Fold down and restart for a few seconds if needed, until you get a homogeneous paste.

Shape the meatballs in the palm of your hands, making sure to wet your hands well to prevent the meatballs from being too sticky. Once the meatballs are shaped, bring the chicken broth to a boil in a pot with the aromatic herbs.

Once the water is boiling, let the herbs infuse for 5 min. before removing them. Dip the meatballs into the simmering water, then let them rise to the surface. Remove them from the broth with a slotted spoon after 5 min. of cooking and then set them aside on absorbent paper. Let them dry for a few moments. In the cooking water, cook the basmati rice for 10 min. and stir regularly.

During this time, dilute the honey and teriyaki sauce with boiling water in a bowl. Pour the resulting sauce into a hot pan.

Sauté the meatballs in the sauce for the necessary time until they are all coated in sauce and well caramelized. Serve the meatballs with basmati rice, sprinkle with a few leaves of freshly chopped coriander and enjoy hot.
