RECIPE STEPS

Add all of the ingredients into the bowl fitted with the dough hook.
Switch on the machine and run for 30 seconds.
- 400 g strong bread flour
- 100 g cornflour
- 30 g margarine
- 250 ml water
- 1 tsp salt

Leave the dough to rise in a large bowl, covered with a damp cloth, for 30 minutes at room temperature and away from drafts.

Divide the dough into 6 pieces and roll each piece into a ball.
On a floured work surface, gently flatten each ball until they are only 1 mm thick.

Lightly oil a frying pan and cook the tortillas (one at a time) over a low heat. They will need a few minutes on each side. Press the tortillas gently with a wooden spatula to make them puff up.
The tortillas are done when they have puffed up and begin to brown.
